Green Smoke...

@ant-heuser-kush, I hope so man, as a legend I would hate to see this game ruined by the fact that you could buy the things. I know Joe said we would have to wait 2 weeks till we get the things and that the ships would be the only ones to use them first. I just don't want this to be something we can buy but I don't know. Any thoughts?

Yeah, perhaps they managed to get hold of some cursed cannonballs awhile ago (back when Wanda was holding her arm was maybe because of it?) and now Salty is trying to come up with a way to either store them safely or else some way to fight back against them.

Either way, I do think he has them and that's what the green smoke is coming from at the workshop. If you look where he's working, you can actually see a pile of cannonballs, just not sure if they are normal or cursed ones.

@ant-heuser-kush, That would be awesome I every time I get on my ship I look for new stuff and what it could mean. I wonder where they would put that though? Second deck for the galleon for sure but in a sloop would you place it in the hull or the top deck for easy access? I don't ask about the brig since we don't know all the facts

Interesting!!!! The latest dev update video mentioned that they were adding in some easter eggs for the new cursed sails....maybe you found one?

People have been theorising on it since the update dropped. I wasn't the first to notice it by a long way.

Others have pointed out that Wanda hides her sword when you enter the shop but that seems to be a new animation for all the weapon shopkeepers/blacksmiths.

They have added a lot more hints that the world is changing for Cursed Sails though. If you look at some outposts you'll see a lot more skull and tusk decorations (notably in the Wilds). While it also looks like they've added more vines to Ancient Spire (maybe also Plunder Outpost but I've not been there since the update yet, just guessing as they're the same region).

@realstyli, If you talk to the tavern keepers they will mention other shops and new shops that are going to be popping up that will be nice.

Interesting indeed. I wonder if that's a hint at the pet store and such?

@realstyli, Oh man that would be awesome I can't wait for animals. I hope that comes out soon. Sadly I would be willing to bet that we don't get pets for a long time.

@semperletalis There is a bug I've noticed that villainous bounty skulls green aura can clip through the hull of the ship. Sot that could be a possible explanation.

@alphacenturion2, This is not a bug that I know of because they all glow through the haul. From disgraced to villainous. Also, I am unaware of what you are getting at with your comment could you be more specific?

@semperletalis Sorry I misread your comment I thought you meant there was green smoke coming from the cannon. My apologies

yeah seeing the cannonballs in there gave me the thought of "its going to be realllll stupid if you can just buy cursed cannonballs from this shop"..
seems like thats whats going on.. at least working on some kind of cannon ball we will have to use against the skeleton crews..

ALSO if you look at the clothing guy there are paint buckets all over that were not there before, perhaps dye's of some sort incoming?

@shuoink, I'll have to go check that out. I watched a video that talks about if we could dye the ship's colors as in keeping the normal design but changing it to a different color. I think that would be awesome and easily done.
