That feeling when you win as a solo Sloop against 4 man Galleon
We got sunk at a Fort by a stowaway recently. As I was prepping the ship for battle after approach, he just started dropping lit TNT on the deck. The crew was on the Fort and I got "blown up"! I had to laugh because this guy was with us from Daggerstooth to Shark Fin scheming! I talked to him on the ferry for a bit and gave him kudos for a job well done. I loved the creativity.

@maquark So I'm on the ferry and who appears in the port side bow of the "Damned"? 2 of my mates who had barrels dropped on their heads also!😀 It was non stop laughter at this point. Here I'm thinking "how did I let this guy board us" and a short moment later I'm thinkin "I'm sailin with Curly,Larry, & Moe". Thank GOD "Moe" had enough sense to snipe the barrels to kill the guy. 😀 We turned it around by nights end by taking the Fort and finishing an Athena's. You win some and lose some😎.
Yeah, i've encounted a fair number of people who are having their gunpowder kegs at their front. This is a hilariously stupid strategy against more experienced pirates, if you ask me. I've never sunk either as a solo sloop or with my crew of lads on the Galleon to these kind of people, and they are usually a one shot kill, when their kegs explode.
But hey! Keep on doing this, it's mad fun when your kegs explodes and we literally make your ship exit the waters :-D
@nyadc85 This is why as a galleon player we take up defensive positions on ram situations. 😀 Bow Sprit, 10ft up mid mast ladder and p**p deck stern corners. Bow Sprit personal then attacks , ladder patches, stern player 1 defends pitcher, stern #2 secures deck and returns to helm. You have to be prepared for the barrel rams are real and effective!
