Infinite respawn loading screen

    I was attempting a skeleton fort when I died and was brought to the ferry, but once I tried to exit it I got stuck in an infinite loading screen, although I could still hear everything that was happening. Eventually, I had to just exit the game after waiting for 20 minutes for it to load.

    Same thing just happened to me was pretty annoying! Happened during skeleton fort raid.... @dragon1killer17

    @ianviorell Same thing happened to me at the fort just now. It was really long the last time then it just took forever.

    Just happened at while at sea. Fell off the crows nest. Went to ferry. Crew arrived at OP. Tried to respawn and got this infinite loading screen.

    had that happen once, unfortunately the only fix seems to be to disconnect.

    Ok if you are playing with at least one other person as you could just join them again but if you are playing solo...oof.

    I just had this happen to me three times in a row. Very frustrating.

    Same here. I've never had an issue respawning and is usually quite quick. Both my friend and I had to quit a couple of times because it wouldn't progress past the black loading screen.
    There was one moment where he spawned on an outpost on a Galleon he wasn't a member of, even though our ship was fine and not sinking.

    I witnessed this last night as well. Fortunately it was just during OoS voyage's, and not a fort. I was the only one in my crew it wasn't happening to though. The other 3 had to keep rebooting.

    I've had to restart my game about 20 times now. Please fix this in the next patch it's getting ridiculous. It's on Xbox too. Happens about every 5 respawns for me.

    @dragon1killer17 Got the same problem very often since the last patch! It is really annoying if you are doing some pvp. Please fix it Rare :-)

    @wirpsha @arodim They released a patch of 150mb this mornig that should have fixed the issue

    I've gotten the infinite loading screen "Black Screen of Death". Happens at random, once you die, go to the ferry of the damned, and when you walk through the portal to return to your ship. Bang!! Black Loading Screen of Death! only way to come back to the game, is to quit SoT, and reopen the game, while hopefully you weren't solo, and your crew can reinvite you in. Sucks, because its at least a 5 min. Disruption.

    Have you both done the update?
    Automatically applied on xbox, but on pc you have to manually update via the store.

    @LogansDadToo Yeah, My Game Auto. Updates. Just a Bug I think, Or a User Issue, Or Server Issue. Happens to plenty of people, on my current crews, other crews, or randomly. I think, its Rare wanting us to Die less. lol

    This happened to me every single session I joined today. Probably ~10 times, lost a lot of time and treasure. The game has became unplayable to me suddenly. I can't join any loading screen or I get stuck forever.

    It's the new patch. It also has an issue when your climbing up the ladder on a ship you will climb down even though you climbed up like it lagged or something.

    Same thing happened to me while fighting a Galleon, I could hear them lifting my anchor and sailing away whilst all I saw was a black indefinite loading screen.

    Happened to me to :/ ive just died, then would to respawn. When i entered doors in "ferry of damned" I've got a black screen with loading ship wheel in the corner of the screen. Windows 10 Pro x64. I was solo and i lost about 10 skulls (4 gold) and 5 chests (2 captains). Screw that sheeet...
