Sorry to be throwing shade but I just thought that Rare needed to be reminded what a pioneer is after revoking so many people's titles. Pioneer: a person who is among the first to explore or settle a new country or area. Every pioneer I've met has sunk so much time into the game, not only providing feedback before but after launch aswell; now we're all being kicked to the curb as a 'New wave' of pioneers emerge. I believe that Rare has made it very clear to us that all of our efforts are now taken with a grain of salt as we're never mentioned or recognised outside of a (very) short mention on one of the podcasts and now we're being forgotten altogether. I understand that Rare is well within their rights to revoke ANYONE's title on the forum at anytime, but getting rid of the original pioneers just because they no longer fit the criteria that is never mentioned is more than discouraging to anyone wanting to join the program in the future. If nothing more, the pioneers deserve answers more than anything else or in-game recognition for all the hard work and commitment every pioneer has put into the game.
As an added (and more salty) note I'm seeing new pioneers with less than ten posts being added to the forums and next to no reputation; surely if someone with eight posts is in but someone else like @Musicmee is kicked out with over thirteen thousand posts and sixteen thousand reputation, than one must truly question what is going on. If Rare wanted to add more exclusive testers into the game under a new title then that would be completely fine, but handing out pioneer titles to those who seem to have so little experience is beyond unreasonable. Pioneers should always be pioneers even if their help is no longer required.
