Have a friend join your session but as a different crew/ship

  • I've been playing this game from the 1st closed beta session up until this update and was wondering, would it be possible to have a friend join your session but not physically on your crew. Let's say you're running a 4 man galleon and have a few others that wants to join but can't. They would have to keep server hopping until they eventually get into the same session as us.

  • @harrison0124 Yes, the result would be a fleet of friendly ships and no Piracy. Great idea. 💡

  • It's a world breaker, can't support the idea, sorry man. The piratey way to deal with that though, find somebody on your server, and then buy their ship with a few chests so they invite your buddy.

EDIT: I feel like if somebody can actually pull off buying the entire server's worth of ships, they earned the fleet.

  • @lizardspider I just handed off my ship to a group of friends who wanted to create 2 crews.

Or a couple D-bag ships sailing together

  • @lizardspider
    LOL awesome

  • @simplkindoman Were you in the same server though as the other crew?

We managed this last night following a long session where I eventually joining the crew of our second ship, so effectively my party was running a galleon and a sloop.
Was fun - even when we all lunge-jumped off of the Marauder's Arch throne into the water and one of my old crewmates accidently killed me by making contact mid-air! XD

Ahoy mate, I've removed your image because it contains profanity which is not permitted on the forums..

Swearing is not permitted on the Forums and a profanity filter is in place to block it. Attempts to bypass the profanity filter will result in a temporary ban from the Forums and a final warning. If the action continues, a permanent ban from the Forums will be issued.

  • @katttruewalker You have time to do that, but the threads hating on the rainbow flag still exist? lol, priorities pal. Is my language more offensive to you than genuine discriminatory hate?
