Despawn time of Vault keys?

    Hi there. Did a raid and got a key from the boss. Put it on another island hidden.

    Came back 2 hours later and was still there. Came back 3 hours and it had gone (wasn't taken)

    Checked the island where the raid was and it had not been open.

    I was told loot does not despawn but clearly does so what sort of time does loot stay around for?

    Pirate could have stumbled upon it and gone looking for the right Outpost to use it at. Anything could have happened to it from there

    You could have moved servers and not noticed

    @retropixelboy probably merged servers, other players found, or there was just too much time ..
