Not exactly a safe zone but it would be cool

    I don't agree with safe zones exactly but it would be awesome if there was this one island where there was nothing on it but a tavern now everything around the island is still the same ships can be sunk whatever. but inside the tavern weapons are disabled and players can hang out drink grog tell tails and even decide if they want to team up and go treasure hunting or whatever. but the second you step out the door all weapons free and you must protect your self as normal.

    I'm not sure anything other than a pre game lobby kind of tavern would work, mainly because at any given time there aren't all that many people on a server together.

    I'm hopeful for this sort of option. I think a pre game port town lobby to socialize and mingle is whats needed. Nothing game effecting. It would be nice to just chat and preform crews through mingling and then load into the game.

    I don't agree with in game safe zones but we need a zone in which to allow the less confrontational side of community to grow. It would be nice if this took place within the game but I feel there will always be those who will just attack for the sake of attacking and this is slowing down the positive end of things. Everyones too gunshy or trigger happy to mingle.

    this is roughly what I was thinking when I had the idea.

    I’d really like a place to socialise and recruit pirates and the only way I could see it working was if you had to load into the area. Must like the ferry and pirate legend hideout.
