I'm sorry, I really didn't understand what "xbone" meant, I guess it's the Xbox? I do have the Xbox One X, and I really think it can handle the graphics

@anndy578 I don't think it's due to technical limitations, with a body it would not spawn randomly as it does now (it would glitch/colide with the ocean floor/rocks/islands or with said body,only appear in selected spots).
The Kraken might not have a body for a number of legitimate reasons.
During Kraken fights, we're meant to be on our ship, fighting off the tentacles, so there's really no need for a body to be rendered here.
If we get dropped or fall into the water, the ink is meant to disorientate and confuse players, and add an ominous feel to the whole encounter.Awesome as it would be to have a Kraken with a body (and I'm quite certain even the basic Xbox could render it without major performance issues), I can understand why it doesn't have one, or might not even ever get one.
A Megalodon would be pretty wizard though.

Yes! but I'd love an "Insta-sink" Megalodon. And about the Kraken, the thing is that we, curious players who jumped to sea whyle being attacked by the kraken just to see what he looks like, got really frustrated by the fact that there's nothing to see.
@carlosylu In Rare's like update video from this week they discussed that the first content update is coming in May and will add a new section to the game and a new AI encounter. The way that they discussed it, it sounds as if all ships in an area will be encouraged to work together to take down the threat.
That sounds great because I have been attacked by other ships while fighting the kraken a bunch and it's super disappointing that the kraken doesn't attack the new ships as well.
@mich2mars you really think the tentacles are just swimming around in the water? it spawns when you trigger it and that's it so a body wouldn't make any difference.
@anndy578 it's one thing to say "Rare, finish the kraken" or "...it wouldn't make any difference", I'm curious to know, what would be your ideas to include said body to the game while keeping it interesting/ making work gameplay-wise/aesthetically?
@carlosylu sure but not as a standard boss but like a random encounter. I am saying it wouldn't be the most anticipated boss like the leviathan. and the threat thats not gonna be added in the hungering deep. Tbh it sounds like a leviathan or whrolpool kraken
