    Return the One Day Patch bandage (Eye Patch) to those who play with the release of the game, but removed their pirate! Because of your limitations, I can not assemble a collection! I bought the game on pre-order and participated in beta tests.

    I preordered and played since 3/19.
    Played the closed scale tests and open beta too.

    I tried to join my friend last night and my pirate was gone with all my progress.
    I had the day 1 eye patch.
    Now it's gone and I had to create a new pirate because of server/game bugs.
    They should have added it to your account permanently.
    Black dog and mercenary dlc are still linked to my account.
    Day 1 eye patch for 1 gold was not linked.
    I don't see it to buy again.

    @chud-stuffens deleting pirate deletes everything for fresh start. Nothing unintended about that.

    Day 1 patch isn't a code, it was a timed in game item. Sucks but it's not account bound like digital codes are.

    If its removed when you reset your pirate then whats the point of resetting now? i want to reset but now i don't want to lose that exclusive piece of cloth and a string i paid one gold for that i never use! but seriously though now i wont if that's the case.

    The day one eye patch isn't all that special you can barely see the 1 on it, unless that make that patch stand out more I'll stick to my black dog patch which is basically the same thing.

    I agree that, if not already intended, they should have made the Day1 "eye" patch a limited time account bound item that as long as you purchased it during its limited availability you should be able to use/re-purchase it for a new character if you decide to re-roll your pirate.

    if you lose your pirate due to an in game bug then yeah should get the patch back. but if you've just deleted your character because you wanted a change that's your loss. limited time means limited time.

    Character look rerolls are coming, there was a post on the r/Seaofthieves sub a few days ago about a person getting an email confirmation that its coming and to just hold onto their current pirate.

    ive been arguing back n forth with support for 6 days now trying to get mine back. just cause I deleted it to change from female pirate to male. still haven't got it back, and I'm not happy about it.

    I had the day one patch before then I deleted my pirate because she was ugly and I lost it..:( thought I would be able to keep it since it was rare.. you should be able to keep it like dlc codes

    Same here, rerolled my pirate cause I didn't like the way he looked, and day one patch is gone. Sucks.

    Purchased the new LAUNCH CREW sniper rifle skin.
    Has a green bottle for the scope. 1 gold. I like it.
    Now I know not to delete my pirate unless you want to lose all the limited time items they give away.
    Happy with the pirate I have.

    Wish Rare would add these to your Microsoft account permanently if you purchase items that are for a limited time only.

    This whole issue could be solved if rare would just give us the ability customize our pirates how we want. The character creator is designed to leave us less than 100% satisfied which just serves to cause needless disappointment.

    The idea was to have you live with the small imperfections and make them part of you. Kinda like real life.
    I don't think anyone has ever designed something to be less then 100% satisfied with the result.

    Knowing that these items aren't account bound, my biggest fear is somehow having my pirate unintentionally deleted and losing these items forever. :(

    Everyone's gonna hate me for this, but here it goes.
    The Day One Eye Patch was just a regular eye patch with the number 1 on it. It's really nothing to get worked over about. IMO the ones from the store look way cooler then the Day One does. It's just a stupid red number one.

    @devilettuce aye but thar be some that are completionists and have to have all the things to feel like they are accomplished something. I agree it look pretty bad n' I ne'er wear me own day 1 patch.

    But I agree wit the people who feel clothing and rep should be bound to yer account, no to yer pirate.

    @awesomecoreusa I agree with the bound to account, believe me I want nothing more right now then to change my pirate, but I'm 48/46/46, I'm not about to start over lol. I just don't think the eye patch is all that...three snaps in a Z.

    It is pretty poor. I cannot argue yer point there. Isn't the Black Dog patch the same one wit an X on it too?

    Eh. I'm no as high level as yerself (37/27/34 I think...) but aye, I'm no rerolling anytime soon so I can relive all those levels again an still be so far from the 50s.

    I’ve seen in a Facebook group that someone has gotten there’s back after deleting their character.. gotten online to see if mine have returned but sadly no..
