  • It's pretty hard to pick just 3 here but:

    F,P,T

    F (Quest Types) - pretty obvious. There is not enough variety as of now.

    P (PVP Bounty System) - I remember reading someones idea about wanted posters being posted at outposts and potentially even having a parrot fly to your ship and drop wanted posters when someone in your server is being overly aggressive to other ships. I think this idea would add incentive to pvp. It could also possibly encourage more interesting interactions.

    T (Ghost Ships and Undead World) - Ghost ships sound great but also I think there should be skeleton ships sailing around. Either way, NPC ships should be a thing. It gives us ship to ship comnbat with something besides other players, also adding a new, more interesting way to obtain loot.

    I love the game so much and can also see several other ways it could improve so...

    Those 3 said, it would be pretty hard to execute T (Ghost/Skeleton Ships), without the addition of H (Map Size and Exploration). The map is too small for a good spread of NPC ships. Also, exploration is kind of uneventful so it could def use some love.

    Also, M (Fishing). Everyone wants it. The idea of adding chum buckets that players could potentially fill with raw fish and let sit, becoming chum, would be great. Players could make chum, throw it to the ocean to catch bigger fish (assuming there would be a system for selling fish you catch). Or potential to weaponize chum -- throwing several buckets around your chip as someone tries to board you, drawing in sharks and maybe a feeding frenzy or something.

  • E,I,L would be my vote for the things i would love to see immediately. All of these sound fantastic and I really wish all of these could be implemented at some point but definitely a better combat system, quests and small activity things to do with crew mates would be really fun :)

    More items, some for more quest types/achievements/factions, some for a Bounty faction, and some for the sake of having more than 4 initial in-game sets with a recolour for each.

    Combat is clunky. Swordplay is very basic and very clunky. Aiming is slow and clunky.
    Skeleton hordes are cheap and feel like they were included as an afterthought with no real tactics or "difficulty" besides cheesy hordes of pistol/blunderbuss skeletons with near perfect aim sending you into a loading screen in one or two volleys before you can thin them out enough to actually try to dodge. The near perfect accuracy on cannons is ridiculous as well. That is not combat difficulty. That is just bad design. That said, I do appreciate the different types (though limited) and different approaches, it was a step in the right direction. But someone stumbled somewhere. There is a LOT of room for improvement and refinement here. For now it just feels tacked on and shallow.

    Kind of a throwaway and definitely not a priority in this game's current state but plenty of people I know are not very happy with the pirate they ended up with, even after an hour or two of scrolling through randomly generated ones. I know I got tired of looking and just settled for a goober. Giving them a little more control over how their character looks would go a longer way toward investing them into the character. As long as the fetch grind isn't too long to achieve this. Which brings me to:

    S
    Face it, fetch is boring unless you are a dog and even they tire of it eventually. As they stand, factions feel a little flat. There is no interplay between factions. No in-game rivalries you would expect from factions. No trade offs from choosing to work with one faction over another. Nothing. Again, a very shallow (and very major) sector of the game. Something has to be done because there is currently nothing there. Could have just named them "Bob" since they serve no real purpose.
