It would be nice if the player can make up to 3 different pirate characters. Each with their own separate progress and items. Also, it can't be stressed enough how the current character customization system needs some reform.
Can we have multiple character save slots? And have the ability to customize our pirate.
I agree with this feedback. It is very limited to only have access to one pirate character. I don't think they should be sharing progression but it's going to cut out a lot of potential player base to ignore this feature. In all my MMO days having multiple characters with their uniqueness is why most people keep with a game.
I would be okay with ONE spare character.
One which does not, in any way, share progress. MAYBE purchased DLC, but only some CERTAIN instances of DLC. That pirate you chose is supposed to be who you are in this world.
Maybe someone wants a male and a female pirate. That might be okay. I could understand that need. Or a young and an old. Whatever. One extra pirate MIGHT be acceptable. But like that's it. Your identity ought be your identity.
