Skull Vault Empty by glitch or hackers?

    If any of those idiot crew members see this. Just know that we don't care that the loot is gone.

    Anyway, we were heading to Skull island. Once we got there we did the raid as normal, as you do. Suddenly out of nowhere, a Galleon shows up. We exchange shots and start to circling around. We then find out they got the loot from the vault, but the thing is the Skull was still in the air and the boss skeleton didn't show up as if it did we would've known.

    They said they already looted before we got there but thing is the vault door was shut. So, how dafuk did they or what stop the Skull or how the loot is gone? Honestly, this makes going to the Skull pointless now. Because who's gonna spend time and wait for someone else to f*k it up by ruining it completely?

    Ok so apparently one of the dudes on that Galleon who were trolling us said "We took the key from a different Skull raid, went to a different island vault and open the vault" Which was the one we were doing.

    Is this true or not cuz if so then this is the biggest bullsh*t ever.

    So that means they must of waited hours for the next Skull to show to gain access to the one we were doing.

    Sorry but I don't see how that's a bravo to them. I can't be the only one who thinks that something like that is possible. The key should only work for that raid only, and that island only as well.

    It's poor game design as people who would see the Skull would've wasted time doing the raid.

    One thing I don't get is how they got the loot off the island while the ship was going in circles. Got skeletons and sharks.

    I'm confused. Are you saying one of them told you it was empty and you just gave up and sailed away or did you check?

    @rk1-turbulence That's the confusing part. The skull in the clouds was gone and I know for sure they didn't finish it as there was no way. We must have done 4 waves.

    @shockwaveDS13 If you take the key to a different vault and open the door there will not be any loot. I tried doing this with my friend but found out that if you use the key on a different island the loot doesn't spawn, and the vault will be completely empty.

    another example of Rare's laziness the key you get from raid can open any of the vaults so you kill captain you take key and run other ships that were attacking you circle that island waiting for you to return and open vault but nope you can go to any other vault look through floor of main room see if that vaults loot has respawned if it did open it without fear of other pirates. each vault should use different keys.

    Seeing as that's a thing I don't think I'll return to SoT. All of us were annoyed by the fact that the vault was open by someone else, but not us. I would've preferred to fight over the island then having someone else open it with a key they had from a different Skull raid.
