Kraken's Fall riddle

Sorry, I don't think i can helpf you with this specific one.
Try looking around the island some more, maybe there are multiple impaled remains. I found that the directions given cover a very broad spectrum on an island, eg it could be at the very southern site of the island but facing north-east. A couple of times i was really sure i had the place but it wasn't.

Usually the impaled remains are a skeleton stuck on a spear or run through with a sword. I may be wrong but keep looking for other impaled remains.

@nytbane It wasn't a figurehead. It was a Kraken skull impaled on the ship's prow on the NW beach, just as the riddle stated.

We already checked the whole dang isle. We went around the whole entirety of the beaches the riddle states North West beach. The only impaled remains is that of a kraken impaled through the skull on a ship prow on the exact northwest beach. Some of the vague clues in this game are killing me.

Are you making sure to click and pull up the compass so you actually take paces?

I had the same trouble. The location is correct. Go to the ship wreck, stand under the skull but as close to the ship as you can and go 5 paces north by northeast, not northeast or straight north but the point in between. That’s where I found it.
