    100 ships? So like 400 players.....Cannae see that happening

    Also, please no, not everything needs to be jumping on the recent battle royal bandwagon. Im sure skull and bones will do something like that being a pvp centric game.

    @winblast01 Yes, I agree. But they do listen to the community, and people may always fall for it if they see profit in it. That is how the company life works.

    Oh you better believe rare is going to do this it’s partly the reason I cancelled my order, I bet my left leg they will listen to streamers/you tubers before their community

    I'd be surprised if the servers could handle more than a dozen ships at a time.

    Whatever the 'magic number' is, I'm sure it would be a blast.

    @theunknownd I agree with this but deep down inside you know it's going to happen, not right away, I am guessing when red dead redemption 2 comes out in october 26th they will be scrambling to find a battle royal themed mode..they will dress it up differently but it'll be a battle royal mode at its core.

    This will probably do some irreversible damage to the game because it'll become so successful it'll splinter the community and the dev time will focus on what makes more money.

    It would have sold way better and had better reviews had it has a br mode. If rare listens to the b**********s in here saying it doesn't need one and the game is enough they are making a mistake. It's a game mode if people don't like it they don't play it. It would also make it a top game on twitch which also helps sales.

    Yes, Rare make this happen! We don't need 100 ships but even minimum of eight would be great. This would re-peak sales and interest for SoT.

    there is a game that's out already called fortnite and player unknown battleground. it has storm circles and 100 players and it closes in on you as you play, so go get on it. in the mean time ill be sailing my ship!

    No please don't Rare, BR is sign of lack of direction in a game and having to rely on a cheap mechanic instead of your games mechanic. I personally hate the BR mechanic. It's played out and overdone and I feel like when a game does that its just to milk more money out of people and an cheap strat.
