How can i change the region in my xbox app of win10 ?

I am searching for hours for a solution.
Seems like alot of people have this issue (i googled alot and read it).

Well, if there is no solution, i am not able to buy and pre-order sea of thieves cuz my ping is over 100 and it also connects me to US servers :(.

Please help me guys i charged today my paypal account to pre order this game ....

Sorry to say but i had to refund sea of thieves, i pre ordered today and i was feared that it wont run on EU servers.
This could be such a good game, but i would say bye and rip :(.

Is there a way to contact moderators / admins on this forum ? so they could take a look on my topic here and maybe help me.

I am ready to try everything to be able to run that game correctly :(.

Oh really ? i didnt knew that, it showed me ping 158 and when i asked people in game they ALL said they were from USA. And having a ping of 158 can be only USA cuz when i play as example csgo or other games on US servers with my friends which are living in USA, my ping is there also exactly 158 :D.

I checked now the network stats on 6 other computers and notebooks, and result was the same (Nat district etc.)
I reinstalled win10 on 2 of my notebooks and also one of my computers and same issue still.

I think i found the issue, its my modem, maybe cuz it uses a IPV6 connection or it rly needs port forwarding or any other setting.

OMG I just misread the name of the thread and thought it said "How can I change my religeon...." LOL Sorry I cant help you with your query but I just found that mistake funny enough to mention.

@dielikekane I never use proxy but i tried what you said and that site shows me the correct country and also city :).

@TimeIVPayback Is your ping also 150+ when you go to on your PC on start - settings - games - xbox network ? cuz even the xbox app self thinks i am in USA xD.

If everyone has a high ping even under the game settings in win10, then this is normal then. But if not, then i have to change my modems settings. I gonna pre-order the game now after i refunded actually xD.

My data looks like this:
NAT type: open
Server connection: connected
Ping: 27 ms
Packageloss: 0%
Internet: 100mbit line with local provider

Here what I had to do when I first installed the Xbox App on my PC (for Sea of Thieves):

Nothing worked, my network didnt connect...and it ONLY happened with the xbox app, all other games, steam or even Origine from EA...all worked like a bee.

After a long search, my router was my problem. Microsoft speaks Teredo and my router did not allow its usage (came with it turned off by default)...so I had to log into my router, I had to go under options there and had to "click" on allow Teredo....and then...tadaaa...everything worked.

Is that "guide" also for fritzbox modems ? i never noticed fritzbox has a setting for teredo. So much thanks man so much ! i gonna try that tomorow cuz i get a new modem and a higher speed

@kustho i followed your guide and it didn't worked, BUT in combination with the guide of @LoboFH it finally WORKED.

Nat is open and there is nothing blocked anymore. FINALLY !!! my ping is still high but yeah seems to be normal. Everything else works like a charm.
