Me and my friend cant find any cage in our inventory or on the ship, do you have to get it from the merchants?
We tried using bananas and walking slowly, using Ctrl, towards the animals but that dosent seem to work.
What are we doing wrong?
How does one capture animals?
@ogone-r0gueo first buy the voyage then go onto your ship to vote for the voyage to make it active. Then go back to the merchant trader who will give you your cages one at a time
@scoobywrx555 wow dude I had found a pig cage on an island so I thought that that was the way to obtain them. I was running around islands looking for the cage. I love so much right now man, you have no idea. I'd french kiss ya if I could.
@ogone-r0gueo haha thats part of the fun with the Merchants is exploring the islands. Keep an eye on those piggies ;)
G'day @floydboklauh, as others have mentioned. Once you've voted on the Merchants Alliance voyage you will have to return to the merchant on the pier. They will give you one free crate/cage for each animal on your list. They'll be given to you one at a time to be stored on your ship.
To catch an animal you need to be carrying the correct crate/cage. When close enough you'll be promoted to press right trigger (Xbox) / right mouse button (PC) to capture the chosen animal.
