I’m veryyyy new to PC gaming. My dad and I played the last scale test and anytime I got on our ship, there was a constant, very loud, obnoxious noise that we believe may be the anchor bugging out. I thought it would be gone during final beta, but here I am lol. I can’t even hear my crew talking because of it. SOS.
Anchor noise bug.. HELP!
@gabzilla34 Ahoy there, there are possibly several things you can try - it is something that has occurred ocasionally.
- Go to settings and turn down the sounds until it's quieter
- Raise a ticket with Support
- Log out and back in again
- Wait and see if it resets itself
To add to the lovely @KattTruewalker's suggestions... for me, it usually doesn't fix itself if you try jump straight back into a session you were in previously. If everyone hops out and you start again the noise always seems to disappear.
If you can record it somehow and submit it to rare that would be useful for the bug report.
otherwise go to how to submit bug and try and give much detail as you can.
Is it louder near the anchor? Just to make sure its an sfx id suggest going into the settings and turning sfx to O and see if it vanishes, just to pin point it more.
