Do you think Blackbeard went up to a ship and when they said please no pvp he just left them to it? it's a pirate game boys, get used to it.

nerf this, nerf that, pls give safe zones. oh cheez, pls folks, if you dont like pvp stay away from this game and even stay away from trying to change the minds of the devs. if you dont like open-world pvp like this game has, just dont play it. stop trying to spoil the fun for ppl who actually enjoy this almost unregulated openworld pvp massacre-feast. its great, i just love it. you have a choice. if you dont like pvp and want to play a pirate game go play the monkey island series and let us pvp pirates be pvp pirates.
i enjoy the aspects of the game. i have to make decisions, i have to be cautious, i can be reckless, i can be adventurous but i can choose as i please and if i enjoy going on the hunt for pirate heads i will challenge them with full force and not be gentle on them once we sank their ship. i am gonna come after you, if this is what i set my mind on that night! but i also might just get the hell out of there if i realize i am outnumbered ¯\(ツ)/¯

How funny, I had a ship of brits running around screaming friendly as my crewmate and I were killing them 2v4. I only lost any interest after I discovered they didn't have a damn thing on their ship and decided they weren't worth the ammo.
I could understand being upset over this being killed during a loadscreen next to a mermaid "pvp" as that's not a real fight, more of an execution. But yea that garbage I just roll my eyes like what the hell? This isn't DayZ where there's no real friend system and you're stuck with little more than trust. If you don't wanna die, then fight and win. Don't scream friendly like somehow others are in the wrong and just being mean to you.

Lol, you use Blackbeard as an example of a vicious pirate legend, and yet, he never killed anyone, at least according to record. Might want to change that out for someone a little more notorious for being a murderous marauder. Blackbeard's portrayal in movies and other games is a far cry from his irl persona.

How did you know they where Americans? Did they tell you during thr fight? I mean when im in America i heard dozens of different accents and see people from every county in the world living there so you couldn't have known just by an accent.

add in the fact that in reallity pirates never attacked each other to much as it was costly, they would mostly go after merchant ships as thats where the money was, but alas this game is based of books and movies that portray pirates as blood thirsty killers
not saying i havent murdered a fair few players in game myself lol

@snakey9419 it's ok I bought the game 5 times so far. I'm doing my part in supporting this game if the cryers decide to not buy. They will just be missing out. This game rocks.
Yeah when I hear "friendly!" I'll say "ok, give us a chest if you're friendly." If they hand one over, I'll leave them alone. If not, open fire. I feel like that's the way to go about it keeping with the pirate theme.

@starquest mine too. It's really so annoying right? I would just be friendly to everyone but that sword just keeps needing that blood! It's a hard life, I don't think these other crews really understand. I hear them getting mad a lot.

So this post was supposed to talk about pvp and it's turned into a debate with american's, french and english.
I can understand why people doesn't to pvp but when the core of the game is pvp you can't ask to make a pve server.
It's the same thing as saying i like PUBG but i want pve server's.
The game itself is awesome and sometimes you are spawnkilled but when you face a real opponent it can be epic and for the record im french and when i see a galleon i dont surrender.

PvP is Amazing in this game and well balanced. if you dont want pvp just be careful and outrun enemi ships.
this will not work every time in every Situation, most if of the time it does. you can spot them miles away.
if a huge ship can sneak up on you its your own fault if you get rekt. you have the feel to get in Trouble in any time and this is how the game works. how boring if noone try to get ur chests its like run brain afk from A to B without any fear to loose something.
I sometimes accept a “parley” or “friendly” call depending on my mood when playing or intention for that session, but there’s nothing I hate more than a person playing the game, and simply saying “friendly!!” With an attitude like your not allowed to attack or are a POS in real life for doing so, id rather be sunk with 100 chests than run into those people, and if I do I make sure I try my best to absolutely decimate their crew and ship in other words I make a point of providing them with life’s 2 inevitabilities, Death and Taxes. Lol. I have only ever yelled or gotten angry in game from these type of players, like I sunk a duo sloop solo once and the guy was so upset, I go “are you mad guy...? It’s just a game and my next map is here...” and he’s repeats what I said mocking my voice and then goes “no I just hate dbags” funny thing is that when I said “oh so me beating you makes me a dbag?” And then laughed, he took the mermaid without saying anything lol, and they only lost like 2 chests or something like that. I see toxicity from players like this so much more often than I have run into crews that pvp being toxic to the losers.

he didn't offend anyone guys just saying its pirate game and if you want to be alive fight for your life.
as for the language people using word "americans" to all who spiking english good in the game because you can tell if french russian or indian people trying to speak in english by their accents. Its just formulation
@snakey9419 I hope to see ye on the 7 seas matey. My crew and I has only come up against pve'ers and noobs.... 1 crew almost out gun powder barreled us but we got the of them and 4 times after that haha. they just kept coming back for blood and we keep giving em it!
