Hair Color Customizable?

    Can we purchase hair color from vendors or is it locked to the pirate we choose?

    not sure my self. but would love the ability to buy it in game with gold along with scars and tattoos.

    Would also like to know. Olric Forstner is a character name I use for my ideal fantasy guy. In my mind he has red hair and a red beard. But I'm not opposed to brown, just no blonde or black lol.

    I believe the hair color of your pirate is determined in the character creation screen when you select one of eight templates. That selection is then locked so no barbars.

    I would hate to choose a "random" pirate thinking I could change his hair color down the road only to find out that I can't. I'm going to assume hair color is locked until it's confirmed otherwise.

    They should definitely add that option, also I think they should add the sound of gasping for air when your character comes up to the water surface. (hope you're reading this dev team)

    maybe they will make that something you can use the yet to be seen potions for? i could see all kinds of dyes being on display in a potion shop :P

    In the scale test my hair was originally black then it turned to grey

    I would really like to see hair colour options available, considering how one chooses their pirate, and the complains about so many of them being fine apart from the colour of their hair, it feels like a must have.

    Hello my fellow fashionistas! I agree with all of my fellows above, what sort of pirate goes forth on a rip roaring adventure without at least 3 hairpieces to go with the spare pants? The sights I have seen on the seven seas (bearded ladies, back fat with faces) is enough to grey the blackest raven - (my poor Lazkino your fate shall not be in vain). Rare we beseech thee, give us luscious locks of fair hue that we may dazzle as we plunder. Give me ginger as a nut, blonde as an Essex, and purple as a hairy plum. Keep looking fabulous out there! Handsome.

    I got hit with the Random Ginger Generator.

    Thought my character had brown hair but once I got in game and in the sunlight I was obviously a red head.

    I wouldn't mind hair dyes for pirates but let's hold off on the crazy spectrum of colors and stick to the more natural tones. I'd hate to log in one day and see a bunch of aqua blue and hot pink haired pirates running around.

    I don't want blonde hair on my pirate! So I have no hair. Was there ever a known outcome of this?

    I know alot of people want this, I do also, when I picked my character I had Dark brown hair then later on it changed to a red colour if you can all please add this it would be great

    Please make hair color customization a priority, it really hampers my immersion . Same with skin tone. The lighting in the creator was VERY deceptive

    I really hope we can change hair color because im a natural blonde so I chose a blonde character but twice now his hair has glitched to black. First time I deleted and started over but now im half way to pirate legend so not want delete . Plus got some good stuff so please have hair color customize

    @dynamitel Its a known bug, and Rare is on it. Go raise support ticket though.
