What's a Baldric? It's the thing that holds a Pirate sword!
It's a huge leather belt that goes across your shoulder and chest, with a buckle. Some hold guns as well, or Satchels with gold.
There could be all different kinds of ornaments, colors etc. that could be used to customize them.
I don't wanna mention the -cough- other pirate game from a few years ago... Black...AHEM...fla..AHEM AHEM.
Anyway, Their Baldric was right on. The ability to pull both guns out in rapid succession, was awesome.
Sadly, I didn't see any baldrics on characters from the Beta. Which makes me wonder exactly where we're pulling these swords out of! :P
It would tidy up the weapons that you have, and be a customizable essential part of your outfit.
An added benefit, is that you can actually see what weapons a Pirate was carrying. "Parlay? A trade? Not with that flintlock ya got on your side".
I hope they have this in store as part of the character customization / clothing!
