Xbox - Communication

    Ok, so I'm sure this is an obvious thing that's been addressed, but I couldn't see it anywhere and have spent a while trawling over the Reddit for info.

    I finally managed to play last night with my friend (I'm on Xbox, he is on PC). (Brilliant and smooth implementation btw!)

    He couldn't seem to hear me and I couldn't hear him. I read that Voice comm's are bugged on the PC or something?
    We ended up using Whatsapp on speaker. DOH.

    The issue is, he could send messages and do dancing/emotes etc...
    I can't find anyway on the Xbox to do this? I've tried all buttons and I've got access to everything, except this.
    Can someone advise either:
    A) How do I send the premade messages?
    B) How do I dance/etc...

    Just found the voice troubleshooting steps for PC, will ask him to try that again...

    non verbal communication & emotes are up & down on the dpad m8

    @beatonator up on the d-pad for non-verbal communications. Down on the d-pad for emotes.

    Easy to miss m8 ;)
    Also, don't forget that the chat phrases are based on what you are holding/doing, so for certain phrases you need to be holding certain items. Also the 'X' button brings up more phrases on the 'chat wheel'.

    @beatonator I found the same issue last night. But I am not sure its an issue with the Xbox version as the problem was not present when I left the game and returned to a different crew.
