Endless Installation process !!!!

    For the past 2 hours the only thing i'm seeing in windows store is the word "installing". IS there somewhere an estimation time or something that indicates that everything works fine and the installation process carries on normally ??

    @calaquendir There should be an indication of how long is left of the install. This looks like an issue with the install coming from the store, If it carries on I would stop the download, restart your PC and then try again.

    I ran into a similar issue. I woke up and got the download started on the windows store then went back to bed. My computer went on sleep mode and when I woke it up the download said needs repair and I have to reinstall it. So that is what I did leaving my computer on the entire time now it just shows "installing..."

    same thing here. After a restart and another download/verify it continues to fail on update install. I will try some more after work GL

    Oh dear. I had an issue with it at first but figured it was my network acting up so just toggled in and out of airplane mode. I saw some preqs floating around maybe you need an update or something? What version of Windows are you using?

    i got the same issue. I just pressed pause and restart and then it went fine.

    I had downloaded SoT on my 2nd drive and the alpha to my SSD. uninstalling alpha from my SSD fixed mine

    @t8a9z I might have the same problem, butI can't find where the alpha was installed. How did you uninstalled it?

    @jcmdeadpool Thanks. It wasn't there for some reason, but I could see it in the start menu and uninstall from there. The download was still on that loop though, when I stopped it, it went away and now I'm downloading those 13GB for the 3rd time today.

    it says I have dl 40gb at 400mb a sec I wish lol

    @kermituk Microsoft measures download speed in Megabits, not Megabytes.

    I've had the store freeze up on me and need to be closed and reopened a few times so far. But it seems to help closing and reopening the store, and it keeps the progress where it was at.
