[SOLVED]: Has someone been able to download the game with closed-beta access and not have an alpha-client?
@nylewalsh Preordering doesn't matter the old alpha client will just automatically update to the beta client as required. We expect a further update to this later today if you haven't already received an update today.
@musicmee I am on microsoft store and I still have the "Sea of Thieves Technical alpha" it download, but I don't know if it dowload the alpha again or the beta.
@katttruewalker for some reason when i click your link it says "YOURE NOT AUTORIZED TO VIEW THIS PAGE" im have founder status and am wating for link to download the game ... ill keep wating during the day but that just cough my attention
@nylewalsh It will be the beta eventually when the update happens. Any old clients will become the beta there is not much to do on your part other than to update when it hits.

For PC you will need to do this -
Make sure you are signed into Windows 10, the Store and the Insider Hub with the correct account. Access to the Closed Beta is linked to your Gamertag, so you must be signed in with the associated email address and password that you used when you signed up for the Sea of Thieves Insider Program.
Install the Insider Hub, find Sea of Thieves in the Hub and finally install the game from the Hub and Store. Follow the steps below:
- Press the Start key and open the Store
- Search for and install the Xbox Insider Hub
- Launch the Hub and you'll find Sea of Thieves waiting for you
- Click the icon which will take you through to the Store page
- Click install and the download will begin.
hey i have tried to install this closed beta on my pc but i can't find it in insider hub? i got inviteded to alpha but couldn't play becouse i got invited to xbox when i don't own a xbox ... and the answer to that i got was to wait until early 2018 when play anywhere function would be able. what i understand form this statement is that play anywhere function is active? https://www.seaofthieves.com/news/closed-beta-play-anywhere
So i would like help to solve this matter so i can play this game :)@impish436 Try the "fix" at my edited post at the beginning. Open the alpha link and try to download it.

couse this dosen't help at all? i can't even find sea of thieves in the insider hub so how should i select "mange" then "unenroll"? plz help me understand this :/ ?Everyone try this:
It says "technical alpha" when you download it. It seems it afterwards updates to the "beta client".
@katttruewalker i have also tried created new login on my pc and it wont work either... :/ do you guys have any solution to this ? i really want to play it the first second it will be up :)

@major-m0k hey yhea tried going in there but it only comeing up if i want to pre oder it? i click there it takes me to microsoft store and there it stand " it's not available right now" and if i click on the 3 dots i only come to playershubb(xbox app) and there i can't do nothing to download it....
the game still dosen't show in insder hub...
i have even tried go to microsoft store app and search for Sea of thieves and there it's shows but i can only pre order it...
