In other games, it's common to have weekly quests to encourage players to keep the game in the weekly routine.
In SoT, the seasonal updates' new commendations sort of provided quarterly/monthly quests.
Can we have weekly quests as well - to let's say complete 3 world event items for 10 + 10 + 30 = 50 weekly doubloons.
And also insert a new unique world event item at each world event that can sell for 5 doubloons at smugglers.
So if the average player does 3 world events weekly, they'll get (15 + 50) x 12 weeks = 780 doubloons every 3 months.
Experienced players can focus on 1 unique world event item (similarly prized as CoF or Reaper chest) that sells for let's say 5 doubloons at smugglers.
And new players might have a chance at collecting/selling the remaining loot at sovereigns/hideout - assuming some experienced players are too lazy to pick up those loot if their sell spot is different.
Farming FotD or diving across servers for Reaper Chest shipwrecks is boring. But it can remain one of the most efficient way to farm doubloons (10 + 15 for each reaper chest as a Reaper V emissary) without the skeleton captain exploits and bilge weekender event.
