Error when purchasing a captain's ship

Hello! This error has been going on for about three years now. I can't buy captain's ships—they take away my coins, but the ship isn't added, even though I've completed all the achievements! It says "ship purchase failed—try again later." And because of this, I can't unlock ship figurines! I'm really hoping this will finally be fixed! I've read that some players have the same issue, but that's rare! I've contacted support about 10 times, but they haven't really helped. They've only refunded my coins for a ship I bought but haven't added!
