I'm Sorry TheBurntPeanut, SOT Has Failed You...

  • TheBurntPeanut's SOT Era has lasted less than 2 hours. All people needed was a reaper's chest and a fleet of fortune to crash the entire server and kick him off the game. This game now has a big "DO NOT PLAY" when big streamers want to stream the game to their audience.

This is a direct result of Rare's incompetence when it comes to player/streamer safety. It took them 30 minutes to find all the settings to not get spam invited or doxxed in the server, and it only took less than an hour of actual gameplay for the server to crash. This could all have been prevented if Rare listened to their community about the severe cheating situation in the game.

The Anti-Cheat is a bandage on a bullet hole, banning these cheaters is just a revolving door, there is nothing to protect streamers, big-named players, and the rest of the community, and now potential enjoyers of SOT will now have to find other games that will protect their identity from hackers.

Here is the ONLY solution: Rare needs to install a new anti-cheat that stop cheaters before they can even cause real damage and implement a tutorial for streamers so they can keep their pirate information private.
