Ranked system to hourglass and new pvp modes

  • There could be a ranked mode in hourglass, that would maybe attract players to play hg more, because they have something to level up. Yeah there is "win streaks" but the thing with that is when you sink or qut the game, you lose everything, and that just makes people rage quit, so there would be a new ranked mode where you would have different ranks and you wouldn't lose all the progress by just sinking once. Also would be cool if we would have a tdm pvp mode, on the random island (with matchmaking), there kinda is tdm already but that is not supported by the base game so players have to do lot of work to tdm together, also tdm matchmaking would most likely clean the tdm'ers from the main servers which would make the base game more playable for everyone, since there would be no tdm blocking the use of some island.

    • Hourglass isn’t a mode. It’s a tool for instant PvP.

    You start Turing this sandbox game into a fps comp game, gonna go down hill fast. Another copy of every single game already out there.

  • @fhat67 I think that its a good idea but they should have ranked hourglass and a separate gamemode for how it is now for the curses and have new rewards for the ranked version but yeah 10/10 idea

  • @burnbacon I meant that if you lose the win streak, you lose all progress in pvp and THAT makes people rage quit, its just a fact. After playing for more than like 1000 hours, what are you even doing in this game? you have millions of gold, you have made every adventure many times, done every tall tale, and at least another of the pvp curses (doesnt even take skill to get because of loss farming btw). And who would stop you from playing the adventures, or the basic hourglass? You could play whatever you want. its just a fact that the hourglass gets boring very fast when/after getting the curse because it has no matter if you win or lose, you always level up. So on top of that we would have some kind of ranking system that would show our skill level and we could also try to level up. Not some win streak, but more visible, that you would be able to level up even after going to offline without needing to start over.
