Shanties for sale. I can see folks spending 499 ancient coins per song as only one person would have to acquire for a crew to play it.
Skins for Cannonballs, Chainshots, and Scattershots: mind you less noticeable 249 each or 400 for matching sets.. They can be themed.. Examples: Fruit? Factions? Etc? I can see people launching pumpkins as cannonballs or chainshots that are two bats or Christmas ornaments tied together?
I don’t want credit or a % but an email would make my day. I’d be happy enough that my idea brought revenue to Rare since I been playing their games my entire life.

@montecore1994 love all these ideas. I'd love to see the Benny Hill theme added to the shanties. Just imagine boarding someone then having them chase you round their ship to the sound of the Benny Hill theme.
Skins on cannonballs would be noticeable, especially if they changed the smoke trails as well. I do like the idea and don't want to rule it out but they'd need to be careful not to let them affect/ unbalance PVP (especially if they're charging ancient coins). At the moment, you can see whether your opponent is firing a cannonball, firebomb, wraith ball, green curse ball, purple curse ball etc. etc.. If they introduce too many different skins, or skins which look too similar to existing kinds of cannon ammo, it could upset the balance and maybe even create a "meta" that people feel they have to pay for.
FYI, even if they do bring your ideas in, you're unlikely to get an email or any kind of personal recognition for legal reasons. The most you should expect is a public announcement that they're making a change "based on feedback they've received". Doesn't mean they don't appreciate your suggestion, and don't let it discourage you from contributing to the forum.
