When it comes to voyages, the Merchants offer cargo runs, animal capture missions, lost shipments, and commodity runs. The Gold Hoarders specialize in riddles, treasure maps, and ancient vaults. The Hunter's Call focuses on fishing, boar hunting, and tracking Megalodons. Athena's Fortune includes the Legend of the Veil, Skulls of Destiny, legendary bounties, maps, and riddles. The Reapers, of course, are a PvP faction.
Then there's the Order of Souls—my favorite faction. Their voyages involve either slaying skeletons or banishing ghost fleets. But you know who else kills skeletons? Anyone at a skeleton fort. And who else banishes ghost fleets? Anyone at a ghost fleet world event.
Rare, now that the Hunter's Call has been properly fleshed out, could you consider revamping the Order of Souls?
I propose 2 new voyages.
An Assassination of a powerful skeleton lord
Instead of battling through hordes of undead to take down their leader, assassination voyages lead you to a skeleton fort where the entire horde is already above ground. Your objective is to stealthily infiltrate the fort's main stronghold and assassinate the lone skeleton lord. A surprise attack deals over 100x normal damage, making it a one-hit kill. However, if the horde is alerted, defeating the skeleton lord becomes extremely challenging, as his entire forces are after you.
An Exorcism of a Haunted Island
This journey takes you to a vast island, where your tools help uncover the source of a dark haunting. Equipped with a quest book and a magic lantern, you follow clues scattered across the island, such as footprints, notes, a misbehaving compass, or your lantern extinguishing in certain spots. When you find the haunting's source—be it skeletal remains or a dark relic, sometimes hidden beneath the sand—you use your magic lantern to both banish the spirit and absorb the area's residual energy. at this point the lantern is now a loot item.
