Specific skull rewarded from Athena Treasury Voyages not allowed to be stored in the mermaid

  • I was instructed by support to post this here.

I ran a Siren Treasury voyage for the Athena trading company, and I beat it and started storing all the rewards in the mermaid. There were two specific skulls (I think they were Villainous Skulls of Ancient Fortune but I was panicking as time ran out so I can't say for sure) that I couldn't stick in the mermaid; instead, when I tried I didn't notice the function of the button had switched and it instead ejected all my loot onto the floor. I ended up not being able to sell all my loot as the treasury reset and the vault sealed on me halfway through scrambling to get everything back in the mermaid :(

So yeah, that skull should just be flagged as an object you can stick in the mermaid like all the other loot from the treasury.

Awesome, people are still doing these.

Time ran out? You should of had more than enough.....plenty. What else were you doing?

when I tried I didn't notice the function of the button had switched and it instead ejected all my loot onto the floor.

I dont think it "switches" more of, you accidently held the wrong button.

My full process was as follows:

*Load the vast majority of loot into the mermaid
*Attempt to load a skull, not noticing the button had changed from "deposit loot" to "withdraw loot"
*Get confused when all my loot pops out of the mermaid everywhere
*My first thought is that I clicked the wrong button, so I hurriedly start grabbing and shoveling all the loot back into the mermaid
*At some point I attempt to deposit the skull and it spits out all my loot a second time (I'm kind of stupid)
*Now I'm confused, I thought the mermaid must have bugged somehow and set the skull aside and started wondering what to do about my loot.
*At some point I start depositing my loot a third time, paying super close attention to the button prompts, and that was when I reached the point in the process that I realized it wasn't the mermaid, it was the skull
*I grabbed both skulls, put them in the treasure chest, attempted to deposit the treasure chest in the mermaid and it also wasn't allowed, so I set the chest aside
*While I was collecting the Disney sticks from the rest of the chamber, it filled with water and the door shut and I couldn't get the remaining loot I hadn't deposited yet, most notably the chest of skulls

I know part of it is me being super slow at figuring out what was going on, normally I have more than enough time but I started panicking as all my loot kept popping out of the mermaid

  • @burnbacon The button prompts do switch when you are holding an item that is not allowed, as it basically registers you as not holding an item. This is part of the new change, which was put in place to stop people from hiding and deleting loot with treasury mermaids.
