One hit blunderbuss kill.

  • So now when we are getting back with quicker swap can we get good ol blundie to proper shape?

    With resitiving and revamping changes in combat that nerf dosent have valid reasons to stay.

    It should have spread like it used to though, no idea why they nerfed that twice as well

    Pretty sure they'll revisit blunder changes.

    I hated the change at first, but now I think it's overall a good thing. The only real argument for the return of one blunders imo is to fight cheaters, or to give a fighting chance to players that are out numbered.

    Like Knyt said though, the spread should go back to the old one or even tighter. No reason why weak blunders/failed 2 taps should happen as often as they do. I'd say they should make the knockback more consistent, but I doubt they can do that.

  • @worst-tdmer a set bullet pattern would be nice too. When you look at videos of weak blunders sometimes you can see the bullets just go around in a ring without a single bullet going towards the center of the screen. As a bonus cheaters wouldn't be able to get better spread

  • Should never have been a one shot weapon. Fine the way it is now, no change required no matter how much people whine.

    I would argue that back in days it was ok.

    Wepon wise:
    When we had 4 weapons it was easy to cover them most with blunder + something combo.
    Nowadays OSK removal is only thing than make other wepon viable choice.
    Gamplay wise it was fine equliser for smaller crews.

    One would arguee that it's poor weapon desing and intergarion tha blundi needed so much change to stop being viable and start being rng weapon thos making room for other stuff.

    But I lean to argument "blunder after nerf allowed for wider choice of wepons" caouse in stalr evinroment that is post S11 SoT enything that make encounters more intresting is welcome.

  • No game really should have a one hit wonder. Because if there was and it’s taken away. Player realize, they weren’t really good after all once there power gun was nerf. Showing it was all weapon not player. “Skill”

    Now these players want it back because there not winning anymore without it. XD

  • One blunders were removed because it would be too powerful of a combo with grapple. I agree they need to rework the blunderbuss again but getting rid of one blunders was a VERY net positive change. There should be no one hit kills. Hunting spears do not count as they are slower than bullets, and not a pocket item. You have to pick them up, charge the attack, and move slower while doing it, meanwhile the one blunder was something you could just do with ship harpoons, grapples, and respawn camping. The game has always been broken in some way or another to make it possible to know where someone is spawning before they spawn. One blunders with ESP bone callers would make it impossible to ever break a spawn camp. In a respawn camp, you have infinite ammo, as long as you keep going back to the ammo box. You only get as many hunting spears as are there, every hit deletes them. You have to go to where they are to pick ONE up. The removal of one hit kills is a net benefit to gameplay and balance.

    Plus ladder drop one tap people defending. The blunder is now a part of a shell with the Eye of Reach and it feels great.
