Sea of thieves boat/pirate customizing simulator plz

    I want to have a place where I can try out different cosmetics together before buying them. I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

    It would probably be a tab on the SOT website. First, you would choose Pirate or Ship.

    If you choose Ship, you pick a ship type (Sloop, Brigantine, or Galleon), then customize to your heart's content. You would have every cosmetic in the game available, and it would obviously tell you which cosmetics you have and which ones you can't get anymore. It would also tell you how much each cosmetic costs and what commendations are required to buy them if necessary. Maybe it could even have an AI boat name generator, using recurring colours and the names of boat parts used as inspiration, while making sure to stay in the character limit.

    If you choose Pirate, it would be basically the same story as Ship, but instead of choosing ship type, you choose Pirate type. Or, if you are signed in, you can choose, "Use my pirate" then select any of the pirates you have on your account.

    I think this would be awesome. Comment if you have any other ideas or see any problems with this!

    @metal-ravage You don't get access to everything for free on insiders. You get basically infinite gold, but you still need to get the comms to unlock things

    @metal-ravage Your point was that you can try it in advance in insiders, but in order to get things in insiders you have to do the same amount of work as in the main game so it's pointless to do in insiders, since you'd have to do it again for your main pirate anyways, and insiders cosmetics and commendations can be reset, so what you unlock and buy there is not permanent.
