Spend a large proportion of my time running emissary flags down in the Roar, or hunting people who are doing so.
Recently I've gone back to running Merchants a bit when I'm tired after work and just want to chill.
I've noticed since the start of Season 17 that destinations are now different for Ashen cargo run voyages.
Typically, regular voyages that were low value would take you between NPCs located within the roar, and the emissary voyage at grade V, being higher value, would take you outside the roar, across the map to turn in cargo. This made sense given the higher value, and longer distance.
Since the start of Season 17, it seems that even the base voyages, which are worth peanuts, are sending you way outside the roar to deliver Ashen cargo. The craziest distance I've seen has been from Stevie on Morrow's Peak, all the way out to Tanya on Plunder outpost.
Haven't seen anything in the release notes for any changes relating to this in Season 17, went back through the previous two seasons to see if there was anything, and nothing at all.
Seems a bit pointless to bother with ashen cargo runs any more, and makes more sense just to stick to the regular ones outside the Roar, given the additional messing around dodging volcanoes.
Is this an intentional change that I've missed release notes for somewhere, or is there something screwy going on given the newly introduced smuggler stuff and their cargo?
