Hello gentlemen, I'm here with an idea to add a special cutscene for people who have reached level 1000 on any of the factions. In my opinion, this is not fair, some people spend up to 1 year of real time, just to then buy their favorite curse for 1,000,000 gold. Am I the only one who thinks we need this?
Special cutscene for people who have reached 1000 lvl in HG
@kingthedeez ummm... what do you mean "just for them to buy their curse" ? That's what they were grinding for, that's what they got..
@kingthedeez Yep, definitely should have been a thing. Super anti-climatic way to end an arc that involves such a huge grind. The 100 curses felt a lot more meaningful and epic to get, which is a shame.
I wouldn't expect a lot of sympathy here on the forums tho lol.

Eeeh, What?
You heard the king.
We need a special cutscene where once they reach level 1000, they get to take a shower in their respective pirate hideouts.
@kingthedeez and then another one for 9999 ? that is the true achievement getting that final title that you get at that level

A cutscene, many wont see but once. No repeatable unless you make a profile. :/
The level 100 rituals are repeatable, so if rare added one for level 1000, it would also be repeatable.
0.14% of players according to xbox achievements have ghost curse level 100. 0.17% of players have level 100 bones. I imagine that less than 10% of players who have each of these have the gold variant. 40 million total players, only about 100k total with one or both of the curses. 10k or less total gold curses between both sides.
@potatosord I think these statistics have to be taken lightly, I suspect a decent proportion of this is alt accounts. Certainly when I do hourglass I frequently come across people with gold curse one or the other (i have one about halfway to other) so its not as rare as these stats imply. I know matchmaking plays a part in that.
I would say the 9999 title that is pure prestige for people who play the game all the time they dont really need much else, the rarity of the title is enough its understandable dev resource wouldn't be put into this. I reckon thousands of players have got gold variation of curses though so even just a variant on the ritual would have been nice, or some added dialogue acknowledging it...anything really, opportunity kinda missed at this point though.
@hiradc I'm doing math based on the percentages they show. The number of alt accounts is actually irrelevant in that, as we can factually see the actual numbers of players with these curses by doing math. You frequently come across gold curse players because in order to get to gold curse you have to be someone who plays the game more than anyone else. You will see gold curses disproportionately because the people who have gold curses will put far more time into the game than people who lack the commitment to get to gold curses. It's not even that matchmaking plays a role, it's that the people who would have those curses just play the game like 100x more than a normal player.
"I reckon thousands of players have got gold variation of curses though" Did you actually read what I wrote? I stated that as many as 10k players have it. So you agree with me but you don't understand that you agree with me...
