The solo sloop for the average guy sucks. No I don't have all day to get better so skip that. Why would anyone want to play solo sloop if they work at raising level to get jumped. In fact, Rare seems to keep making it worse for the solo sloop player. After 7 years I'm tapped. Safer seas here I come. PS Rare...please do something.

With that attitude, solo sloop isn’t your problem. Put 4 of you on a galleon and it’s the same result.
Also, what is “get better” to you? Curious what exactly would take you all day.
Lastly, are we also “skipping” using the official discords looking for group, or using open crew, or finding crew mates through any other method?

Well, yea. Cuz they encourage playing with someone, not solo. It's your choice going solo, and with that, accepting all the bonus difficulty it brings.

Rare did address this issue. You are currently headed to their solution, Safer Seas... If you want a quick way to jump the skill gap try Hour Glass. You will be banging your head against the wall for the first few matches, but your solo sloop abilities will rise quickly. You can also watch a few youtube videos on solo slooping by Sponge and you will pick up skills quickly.
