Crossover: ink realm

  • In Sea of Thieves, the introduction of beings from another dimension, like the Denizens of the Ink Realm, could drastically alter the world.
    Here are some possibilities:
    Environmental impact
New hazards: The ink might corrupt the islands, creating new hazards and obstacles for pirates to navigate.
Weather manipulation: The Ink Demon's abilities to control and manipulate ink could manifest as strange weather phenomena, like black ink storms, further increasing the danger and unpredictability of the open seas.
Corrupted creatures: Existing Sea of Thieves creatures, like sharks and Krakens, could become warped by the ink, transforming into more monstrous and challenging versions for pirates to contend with.
    Interactions and potential conflict
Factions vs. Ink Realm: The established factions of the Sea of Thieves, such as the Gold Hoarders, Order of Souls, and Merchant Alliance, would likely view the Ink Realm Denizens as a new threat to their activities and potentially even their very existence.
Potential allies: The Ink Demon's animosity towards other entities, such as Wilson, suggests the possibility of unlikely alliances forming against common enemies.
New voyages: The influx of these ink-based beings could lead to the development of new voyages and challenges, possibly involving discovering and containing the ink, according to seaofthieves.wiki.gg.
    Pirate's experience
New threats and challenges: Pirates would encounter an entirely new set of enemies and challenges, like Ink Monsters emerging from the depths, adding to the game's difficulty and excitement.
Unique weapons and tools: The unique properties of ink could lead to the discovery or creation of new weapons and tools that offer new gameplay opportunities and strategies.
Darker atmosphere: The ink's corrupting influence could potentially darken the overall atmosphere and aesthetics of the game, adding a sense of ominous mystery and dread to the world.

  • Very interesting however I don’t think we need all these crossovers, pirates of the Caribbean and monkey island ones are popular id say so thats why they got pit in the game, if there would be another crossover it would have to be a captain hook one, apart from that sea of thieves should really focus on its own story, thats what makes the game interesting is the sea of thieves lore, i think all these crossovers are just jumbling up the story of the game.

    Who agrees?

I agree. Sea of Thieves is it's own game. It's like when that talent agent asked Elvis Presley who he sounded like, and he said he didn't sound like anyone else. They don't need to keep making crossovers to shine bright when they're their own star.
