There should be an option to pick a sail "style" after selecting the actual sail..
So, Every sail can be more unique.
Maybe even a create your own sail option could work..
similar to making a banner in manor lords..
Choose Sail cut style.. fully intact, torn, ripped edges.. whatever..
Then you have stock SOT images that you can crop, resize, rotate, overlap & place on your sail.
Im sure you get the idea..
It could be part of a Captaincy overhaul.. which is needed.
or they could go ahead with their nerf of the kraken sails since they never refunded anyones dark adventurer sails when most people bought them for a visibility advantage. they caved to insider demand that they dont nerf kraken sails but they also intentionally made the black kraken sails without the visibility benefit that the purple ones had.
they wont ever give us customization. we cant even save clothing favorites. we have 5+ sets of the same looking clothing just different color varitations to have an even more cluttered clothing chest when they could have just done clothing dye. buying a sail shape and being able to have your pattern conform to fit it would be nice. not gonna happen.
same with other ship cosmetics. why do i need so many copies of the same cosmetic just to have different color variations? our chests get bogged down with stuff making it cumbersom to look through the longer the game is out and no favorite system in sight. at least we can finally save ship cosmetics... just not if we play on safer seas while paying them a monthly fee for the right to.... seems off to me. why would i pay them a monthly fee and not be able to play on MY ship?
