SEA OF THIEVES - PLEASE LISTEN AND TAKE THESE MEASURES TO IMPROVE YOUR GAME

    Dear SoT, your game has been great at times, and it has so much potential to be an amazing game, but lately the updates have made the game worse and dropped the amount of players. Here are some suggestions that I beg you to listen to that will make the game 10x more fun and welcoming.

    1. Please stop ignoring forums
      You guys have ignored multiple forums that I’ve seen that have great helpful suggestions to improve your game.

    2. Give graphics options for console
      I’d recommend giving options of cursed graphics to console to make the game look better and run better. I am not asking for legendary graphics as consoles aren’t meant to run high graphics, but lower graphics would overall improve looks and gameplay.

    3. Add 110 fov
      Nice, you guys got that one that I’ve been asking for for a long time! Thanks!

    4. Stop focusing on adding more content, and focus on these listed things
      Lately you guys have added lots of new skins, voyages, shipsets, etc., but the playability of the game has not improved.

    I mean no offense with any of these, as I am simply trying to help you guys. I love the game and it has great potential and I just want it to be the best it could be. Thank you for considering.

    What to improve? I'm curious here. Many suggestions I've seen last few months are all about improving the OP own personal gain and ruining the little guys.

    No content, players get bored and come to the forums to complain why there isnt anything to do. It happen before. Nobody is happy.

    I mean no offense with any of these, as I am simply trying to help you guys.

    Rare is hiring. So if you want to Help, join up and get involved more. You be greater help if you have big plans and actual ways to improve things like, Server performance? Which seems to be bigger issue for some players than FOV or Graphic for consoles :P

    So your suggestion-- I mean "help" you're giving them, is for them to stop ignoring forums and add console graphic options and to stop making content?

    What are you even asking them to do? Stop ignoring forums is such a personal one. Some people believe the forums do get good representation, some don't. Someone might think the forums are "abandoned by the devs" because they keep suggesting some silly idea like adding more cannons to the galleon.

    Regarding the 4th point, don't worry, there hasn't been any real news for several seasons now, so...
    And as for the fact that the developers should listen a little more to the forum, well, that's going to be complicated: they already don't listen to insiders....

    @burnbacon how is it personal gain? I’m not trying to ruin it for bad players I’m trying to make it good for all players. You guys just buff the sword over and over and you make everything worse for good players so that it will be “fair”. It’s natural to be unfair if a good player is going against a bad player. In fact it shouldn’t be fair. A good player should 90% of the time beat a player worse than them. Thats how you improve at games. You guys spend so much time making the game laggy and run bad. And if you were actually reading the post carefully, you’ll see that I wanted LOWER GRAPHICS. LOWER GRAPHICS FOR CONSOLE makes it run better.

    @europa4033 I want them to prioritize patching bugs and making the game run better before adding more useless content. And yes, they ignore my forums because they are scared of progress. All they’ve accomplished in the last two years is adding another pride flag.

    1 - Forums are not ignored. Just not every idea is a good one and even if they are, take time to implement/fit in with current plans.

    2 - Graphics are set on Consoles because they are optimised for Consoles as they are all the same standard units. PC's have far wider ranging capabilities. Some Consoles have options for performance vs quality in the cases of frame rates over graphic quality.

    3 -Already a thing as mentioned in recent announcements/videos. I don't see it as a fix all to anything other than people complaining.

    4 - Add 'no content', people complain about 'no content'. Add more content and people complain about not focusing on game health. As always it is a balance that can never be won because someone, SOMEWHERE will always complain about not enough 'X'.

    "content" is also completely down to personal opinions, whilst you may not like something added because it is not to your liking, others may love it because it is theirs.

    That being said and with this Thread seemingly circling the drain, I'll be dropping anchor here.
