This would be AWESOME!! Maybe make the ink throwable only obtainable from the kraken itself. Or when the kraken grabs your ship you can go up to it and extract ink from it.

The effects could be temporary blindness (not a full black screen) like the barf effect but just black or purple, with poison and maybe a slow effect. But at the same time if you throw it too close to yourself, you too will feel the effects.

So a throwable version of either the poison dart for the blowpipe or one of the curseballs? I think that is already decently covered with those two.

I rather then see such a throwable 'inkball' create a decently sized inkpuddle when you throw it in the water, wich players can use to slow other ships (either player or skeleton)

I feel like that would be a 50/50 it would be really cool but at the same time it would feel a bit overpowered. I feel like it should be a temporary blindness that maybe slows and poisons. And if you throw it too close to yourself you will also feel the effects. To further my point, it could leave like an ink puddle and THAT is what slows someone if they step in it. And the blindness would be like the barf effect but just black or a deep purple.
