  • @jam-suzuki what does the error say exactly?

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Runtime Error!
    Program:

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

  • I'm not too knowledgeable on this subject but it could be a corrupted Visual Studio Code (What the game runs on).
You could also ask ChatGPT for help which is surprisingly decent in finding solutions.

You mentioned reinstalling it, did you also try re-installing The game and first of all doing a clean delete of all the files from it?
I know its 110+gb big which can be annoying if you don't have fast internet.

  • @jam-suzuki

Hello, same here, I didn't find a solution yet. I'm looking forward to it aswell. Tried everything.

  • Hi, same problem. I have tried all possible solutions but it had changed nothing.
I don't know if it is recent from you, but from my side, I have noticed it has begun since the update of the 24th April 2025.

  • I'm also going through the same thing, reinstalled everything, updated everything. As soon as it's about to hit the Title Screen, BOOP! It gone! It's been happening for about a week now. I Went from putting in 246hrs in the game running Mythical Settings, to rubbish..
    (I'm on Steam)

  • It is probably the game which has problems. I have never had it before this update.

  • Rare are Hiring link at the bottom 😆

  • @jam-suzuki also had this problem from 16.05 till today/ if you have x64 windows, you need to install latest version of microsoft c++/ and also install x86 version of microsoft c++/ i hope it will help you

  • @jam-suzuki also you need to add swap file in your system, then it should start

  • I think I have the solution :

Update the applies Microsoft Visual C++ Redistribuable (x64 and x86) thanks to your antivirus (Avast in my case).

And now, it seems this problem is finished.

Try this method by hopping that works.
