Hundred levels of distinction with each company

    Hello,

    Im already on lvl 3 distinction with my favorite company. It would be neat if you could copy Hunt Showdown model and add at least 100 levels of distinction (prestige levels), so its something to gain by simply playing. You dont even need to add further rewards... Its not something players should grind or be bothered with. Same like with ship levels, its simply something to gain, number to see.

    Just saying that if I did hit lvl 100 prestige in Hunt, I could in few years hit it in SoT as well and I dont see why the game couldnt support this or why it would bother anyone.

    Hitbotc recently made a similar request around just uncapping the levels similar to hourglass factions.

    I personally agree because I have been 500 reapers for quite awhile so it would be more reflective of my playstyle to rather than eventually have all at 500, reapers be much higher and you can see which are the slowest.
    Although I suspect a lot of the community wouldn't like this as completionists, and also would potentially demand rewards for the effort as if they'd otherwise stop playing those factions when maxed.

    @semris7490 we asked for level increases in year 1. it took forever and the introduction of the emissary system to go to level 75. now years later we are at 500. While uncapped would be nice. I wonder what will happen with the future seasons.

    Yeah I'm not sure why they didn't just replicate the hourglass ranking system. Would've been much better IMO.

    That said...I can't imagine that after YEARS of waiting for a level cap increase, that they're going to change it again anytime soon. Hope I'm wrong...but...

    Makes me wonder if Rare eventually plans to add more distinctions down the road with new cosmetics to work towards like the rings we have now.

    Uncapped levels and distinctions with th no rewards....

    Isn't that sortof a variant of something already in the game as.... Captaincy? If you don't pay attention to your pirate captain stuff, this request just makes it equally redundant.
