Lorraine isnt selling maps to keys for ashen chests. Getting an ashen key while fishing pretty much is nonexistant anymore. The captains who drop a key also drop a map for an ashen chest, so that key is already accounted for.
How am I supposed to unlock the ashen chests that come from skelly ships?
For example, here I have 3 chests, no key. Where do I get keys from?
Are you playing in high seas or safer seas? In high seas the fleet of fortune gives 3 chests and 2 keys. Also, if you want to farm keys while fishing, check some videos on youtube. You have to find a specific spot on tribute peak (shores of gold) that will aloow you to farm not only ashen keys but also trash stuff for hunter call commendations. Also, try island hopping to find ashen guardians. They drop a skull, a keycand a map for the same island that allows you to find the ashen chest.

Yes, the Ashen Keys can still be caught while fishing. My Friend just caught 2 while fishing.

Ashen skeletons are almost on every island these days and all of them gives you a key + the chest.
That's not the issue...OP wants a seperate key for the chests he already has...
