Curious if anyone else has reported hourglass boosters and had no action taken, aka, "this will be investigated internally, we are unable to disclose the eventual outcome of the report"
I have provided evidence of well known community members that have admitted to boosting 1600 hourglass levels. I won't go into the details of these exploits or the members involved. Additionally, unrelated to my own reports, there are players featured in well made Youtube videos openly and proudly admitting to these exploits. You'd think these accounts would be banned right?? Wrong, all of these accounts are still sailing the seas. Don't believe me? Lookup [mod edit] on youtube. He does a great job of showcasing these exploiters.
Are we ever going to ban these players or are we ramping up for a skin un-locker style ban wave as seen in the past? Surely there is a way for Rare to track and flag accounts that have earned unobtainable streaks in a single session, all without server merging?
All this to say it's extremely disappointing and demoralizing to have reached either lv 1000 curse only to hear people have accomplished the same feat in a couple of evenings without also earning a Redbeard for their unrivaled dedication.
That's my rant, eager to hear if anyone else has had similar experiences trying to report blatant boosters. I would also be interested and extremely appreciative if Rare Support could shine any light on measures being taken to punish these accounts?
