So I realized a funny coincidence between SoT and Legend of Zelda, and it's that the mermaid gems, which are red, green and blue, are the colors of the triforce from Zelda, which has the colors blue for wisdom, red for power, and green for courage.
No I'm not saying there's a connection, it's just a funny coincidence

Nope, not even close, Hombre. I thought of this coincidence while I was playing Breath of the Wild and dragon hunting cuz I wanted their parts to sell, and I thought about SoT and the Triforce. However, I must admit that a collab with Nintendo would be cool, and I would buy the Master Sword cutlass in a heartbeat.
@gravesilence272 no many because when the added the DR it was packed for like a week or two and then it was empty and became the unofficial pve zone ....but as for the gems I could see them being a Zelda reference these guys grew up on Zelda Rare made Donkey Kong back in the day so Nintendo references wouldn't be to wild
Ah, but if you go with Windwaker, you could have the "Master-Cutlass" AND crew costumes based on that game's own pirates! =D
Not to mention a King of Red Lions ship theme!
Oh yeah. I forgot that Rare was once part of Nintendo, and then Xbox bought Rare and we got the majestic game known as Sea of Thieves.
