It is really getting old looking at the blank ships name on the ships crest. This has been a problem for sooo long.
I realize it is a cosmetic bug, but come on.

@wolfmanbush Have you noticed that if you login the first time, it is blank, but if you log out, then back in, say to try a different server, then it shows up?

no pattern that I've picked up for me but I also haven't really looked for one
I tend to be on a server for a longer amount of time so I don't hop to fix it, just ride with whatever.

It also resets if you toggle "Hide Ships Names" in the HUD Options on/off.This. I just toggle all the settings under Name Visibility on and off and it fixes.
It's related to a bug with the settings saving that's been an issue for almost a year now.

That's one of the things I really enjoy about it, the options that serve most people.
I'm a one pirate, one Captained sloop kind of player and other players can have a bunch of boats for different scenarios.
I've only had one Captained boat and have sailed it since the first day of release so nearly all of my ship activity lines up with my pirate activity starting on that day. That's really cool for my immersion and adding substance to activity and sailing around.
Entirely changed the game for the better imo
