Quest for Reaper Gifts

    Been trying to complete Bountiful Giving for All commendation, and I only have 5 left but no one goes to reaper anymore. I was sunk with two Generous Gifts on my ship, they sell at an outpost and vote up reapers hourglass and just dive.
    This wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't such a struggle to find Generous Gifts to begin with.

    I recall when I started playing like two years ago, and we got to Christmas, there was a challenge including putting ships on fire with ashen winds skull for an event. As part of the voyage to get the skull, you also got Athena kegs and reapers gifts. I've not seen the voyage return since then.

    Could we see a return of the quest this year or something similar? Just to get a reliable way to get reapers gifts?

    They just need to make it so gifts can be sold at outposts. They are technically reaper loot, but there is no reason they should be sold at the hideout exclusively considering unlike reaper chests, they arnt a high priority target to steal. No one is going to sink a ship just to take some gifts.

    Its something that is unchanged for no reason other than "they have always been sold at reapers!", but the way i see it, they should have made it possible to sell gifts at outposts before they allowed you to sell flags to the outpost.

    Are we sure about this? Maybe everyone is doing something else….for next few weeks.

    You expect to finish something quickly and straight instead of just going with the flow

    Drop them off and move on. If someone turns them in, good. If not. Oh well

    Would be nice to see the gift voyages return around the holidays or from Larinna full time.

    Would be nice to turn in gifts at the Reaper Tables too.

    I think it would be nice if they added them to the maps for the new siren voyage

    2 gifts per island as digs

    get some gifts floating around out there with new and interesting content, great way to get them sold by others.

    I wouldn't spread them out just have them right next to each other so it doesn't interfere with the voyage much and so they don't just get ignored.

    or just add two gifts to the chest since it's just the skull in there anyway.

    Good sir, I'll have you know I've had these issues long before Siren Song.
    But yes, very little reason to go to reapers anymore. If you go reaper and want PVP, you do hourglass, and you can now sell your frags at outposts, no need to head to reapers to do that.

    My problem is that this is something I've been working on on-and-off for a over half a year. I've placed reapers bounties at Reapers Hideout to make players show up, only yo have people step over the gifts, sell the Bounties and leave.
    This is me starting the grind this week. Main issue is that either by hunting captains on islands or doing forts, I am not assured a Generous gift. So if it takes me too long to find one, I then no longer have time to wait for someone else to sail to reaper to sell, as I have to log off.
    This isn't accounting for waiting for so long that the server merges and I loose it. As far as I know, I need to be on the seas, same server as the gift for it to count.
