Stay Put

    Make it so that your pet stays put unless the ship sinks.

    Currently, if you die your pet will spawn with you. This gets annoying in PVP.

    Don’t have your pet out in intense situations. They have a “dismiss pet” in “my crew” so you can send it away without needing to find the chest, can send it away on the ferry of the damned, etc…

    I have a little panic every time I accidentally explode myself during a treasury and see my bird down there suddenly before I remember it follows you again after death.

    Pets can't have any other purpose other than cosmetic, otherwise they're pay to win.

    Then....turn off Pets during pvp :p

    whne did this become a feature. Your ship sinks, you hear a loud Doooooo music and message appears.

    @lordqulex People send pets over as fake boarders. And as long as I don't die, they serve this purpose regardless of whether or not this change is made.

    I don't think it's pay to win to have an extra indication that I lost. According to @BurnBacon there are already other methods that do this. What I'm asking for, is for the pets to not give me a jumpscare of thinking I was distracted from the ship sunk message. This isn't additional functionality for pets, this is something they already do: sitting.
