I'm not sure if this is an allowed topic here not, if not mods please remove it, but I was wondering if Rare intends to take action againts those who exploited their way to lvl 1000 in the HG factions?
I just came across a player in open crew who very clearly had done this, and was wondering if its worth it for me to report them at all or not?
This way this is laid out makes it seem to me like you are just accusing some random open crew player of not meeting your skill expectations or something
Support is the way to go but if this is something like just a feeling or something about skill level or something comparable that doesn't mean the player violated ToS.

I did file a report, I am asking for clarification if it is an offence againts the ToS of the game and worth it for me to report or not.
I do not want to burden the already overwhelmed report system with unecessary reports.

All anyone will say is to go through support if you think something violated ToS
a vague post about "exploiting" doesn't give anyone anything to work with other than you think someone in open crew was doing something that you consider to be exploiting.
That stuff doesn't get handled publicly.
I'm not here to discuss the specifics of said exploit, but it is well known to the developers and the community. It allowed players to gain lvl 1000 in a matter of hours.

Support does not give me an answer to this question. There isnt even a way to report players who have breached ToS, only toxicity in comms or cheating.
@i-jusa-i you can report players for cheating. If this exploit, as you’re claiming, is giving people level 1000 within a few hours, then it’s quite obviously cheating and a bannable offence.
@i-jusa-i still report them. If Rare determine it to be breaking ToS they’ll ban them. File it under cheating, it’s not going to affect you if it’s the wrong category for reporting :)

But if Rare support is not interested in taking action againts exploiters, I do not wish to add to the already overwhelmed support system.
As in, for future reference, should I just ingnore it or write up a report?
Support does not clarify anything these days, you always get the saem blanket copy paste "Passed to security team" response.
@i-jusa-i no offence but what’s the point of this post? You’ve reported it, Support won’t take action, you won’t discuss the exploit here, but you want answers to questions we don’t have… doesn’t make much sense to me tbh.

If what they are doing is clearly an unintended mechanic, Rare might do something against the offenders, if not just fix the glitch to prevent further exploitation.
I'm reminded of the glitch with veil voyages and how it was something that players couldn't accidentally do, so the players doing it knew that they were exploiting a glitch. Rare did take action against those players while fixing the glitch as well.
The best answer you will get on this will be from support and rare themselves. They might choose to take action against offenders, or they might just choose to fix the glitch and leave it at that. Letting them know is all we can do as players to help them keep their game in a healthy state.

Only a Rare employee / Moderator / Admin is able to answer something like this. This is the only place I know where one is able to ask questions from anyone official at Rare.
I have no clue why you think I want an answer from the players using this forum, as they literally have no say in the matter.
Support is over whelmed with reports and will not discuss if action is being taken or not, or if a report serves purpose or not, and I do not wish to pile on with uneccessary reports.
Hence I am asking here in hopes of clarification. If no one clarifies, then so be it.
