Emissary quests should be delivered to you

    Since Rare wants more treasure on ships around the sea, seen by the changes to world events and looting in Season 9, I think it would be a great idea to have emissary quests delivered straight to your quest wheel. Or, a bird could land on your ship dressed in the garb of each faction, and you just interact with it or dismiss it.

    I think this is needed because so often I finish selling after a long session, see the emissary quest, and think: "I am already done selling and tired, I am not going to do this". But if instead, I got delivered an emmisary quest as soon as I hit grade V, I would be much more inclined to do those quests, especially if they are nearby. Thoughts?

    No, no they should not.

    It should be a hold to take instead of a press.

    But you should have to choose whether you want it or not.

    As someone who is still hoping to FIND grade 5 OoS boats for the "Order of Souls Shamed" commendation, this idea would mean those boats might choose to go to another island, instead of straight back to the outpost to lower their flag.

    Any idea that keeps non-reaper grade 5 boats on a server for longer, is worth a look. Not against this idea at all....

    I can get behind this. They've done a good job speeding up the game over the last bunch of seasons and this would fall right in as a QoL improvement.

    I don't do a lot of questing these days, but thinking back on it, to @Smuntface 's point...there's plenty of times that this would have kept me sailing a little longer with my Grade 5 flag up.

    @personalc0ffee this was a point i was going to make, I'm not against the idea but I wouldn't want it to auto appear as I often choose not to take them. With athena for example, I'd rather do more veils than emissary quest

    @taterthoto I'm an eternal grinder. I would rather not. I go back I hand in my loot, grab the emissary quest, and I flip my flag to start over.

    Some people don’t want there quest wheel flooded with those things.

    So I think keeping it as it is would be better. Freedom of choice after all

    More rare than the Grade V merchant or Athena, you are.

    I am at 198/250 OoS voyages completed and 85/100 raises. I am nearly done with OoS.

    A big issues with Emissary Quest, IMO is that it does not count towards voyage completions and neither do discovery quests. This is silly and should count.

    A quest should be a quest. I shouldn't have to specifically vote down a quest, for it to count towards my completions.

    Thank goodness for captaincy voyages or else this would take AGES.
