Chest of Fortune Milestones

    We got several new milestones in Season 8, but I don't see any new milestones for Season 9. There is a commendation for Chests of Fortune. My understanding is that this commendation will stop counting at 30 (for now). It seems like a missed opportunity not to have a "Chests of Fortune sold" milestone that would keep track beyond the commendation.

    Since the earliest days, stealing Chests of Legends has been a popular pastime on the Sea of Thieves. The Chest of Fortune is the Chest of Legends 2.0. The Captaincy milestone and logbook features would be an excellent way for players to track (and show off!) how many Chests of Fortune they've managed to get their hands on.

    You are correct there were no new milestones added, but the changes to world events and FoF allow you to more easily work on your Feared milestones.

    So far there have been no milestones for specific individual items sold. They are all “items sold to” but not “this one item sold to” so I think that’s one reason they didn’t add it. Even the fishing isn’t a specific individual fish caught, but the category of fish.

    Maybe it’s a resources conservation as to why they limit milestones to more broad categories.
